CPR, First Aid and Lifeguard Training in Boston, MA

Wicked Safety Training certifies Boston residents, employers and clinical teams in CPR, BLS, first aid, AED use and lifeguarding. We are an American Red Cross Premier Licensed Training Provider, an AHA Training Site and an HSI Training Center, which means we can issue the exact card your employer or licensing body in Massachusetts asks for without sending you somewhere else. Instructors are working RNs, EMTs, paramedics and credentialed aquatics professionals with over 100 years of combined experience. We have taught across Greater Boston since 2019.

Courses Available to Boston Students

Every course below can be taken as a public seat or delivered privately at your Boston site.

  • Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED, the standard workplace card covering adults, children and infants
  • Lifeguarding and aquatics, including waterfront, Water Safety Instructor and private swim lessons
  • Babysitting, wilderness and camp programs, including Safe Sitter and Wilderness First Aid
  • Instructor-level training, Red Cross and HSI pathways for CPR, BLS and Lifeguard Instructors
  • Corporate and organizational training, plus Bloodborne Pathogens and Emergency Oxygen Administration

Individual Seats or Group Training

Book one seat or book your whole team. Individuals register online for a public class and get a card on their own timeline, which suits nursing students, new hires, personal trainers and parents.

Groups are usually better served privately. Once you are past a handful of people, travel time costs more than the training does, so we come to you. Group, corporate and recurring-training discounts apply, and we build custom annual training plans for Boston clients who certify the same staff every year.

On-Site Training Anywhere in Boston

We bring the manikins, AED trainers and supplies to your address; you provide a room. That covers hospital units and clinics around the Longwood Medical Area, offices in the Financial District and Seaport, restaurants and hotels downtown, schools and childcare centers in Dorchester, Roxbury, Charlestown and Jamaica Plain, and university departments in Fenway and Allston.

Classes can be split across shifts so a unit, kitchen or front desk is never left uncovered. We handle the roster and the certification records and hand back a completed compliance file.

Who This Training Is Designed For

  • Healthcare teams meeting BLS requirements at hospitals, dental practices and outpatient clinics
  • Employers building designated responder, floor warden and safety committee programs
  • Schools, camps and childcare centers meeting Massachusetts licensing and ratio requirements
  • Aquatic facilities certifying and recertifying lifeguard staff before a season opens
  • The general public, including new parents, coaches, sitters and anyone who wants to be useful in a bad moment

Certification and Recertification

The Red Cross separates online-only education from certification earned in person or through blended learning, and so do we. Every certification course includes hands-on skills practice with an instructor watching, because that is what a Massachusetts employer, licensing board or state regulator is actually asking for when they request a card.

Depending on the course you choose, you'll receive an American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or HSI certification. Your course listing shows which card you'll get before you pay. Online registration and eCard delivery are available for most courses. Renewal windows are set by your employer or licensing body rather than by us, so we confirm the exact certification details at registration. Recertification seats run alongside our initial classes, so you can renew before your current card lapses.

Nearby Communities We Serve

Boston sits at the centre of our service area, and we train across the river and up the corridor just as often. If you are closer to another city, start with its page: Cambridge, Somerville, Medford, Woburn or the North Shore.

We also travel to Brookline, Newton, Quincy, Chelsea, Everett, Malden, Revere, Watertown and Milton, and further out across New England for contracted on-site work.

Boston Training Questions

Where are your CPR classes near Boston held?

Public classes run from our classroom at 546 Main Street, Woburn, MA, roughly fifteen minutes north of Boston on I-93. If you would rather not travel, we bring private on-site training to your Boston workplace instead.

Can I get CPR certified in Boston entirely online?

No. The Red Cross draws a firm line between online-only education and certification earned in person or through blended learning. Employers in Massachusetts that require a real certification card expect hands-on skills testing, so every certification course we teach includes in-person practice with an instructor watching.

Which card do Boston hospitals and clinics ask for?

Clinical staff are almost always asked for Basic Life Support. Some Boston employers name the Red Cross, others name the AHA. We hold both licences plus HSI, so you can bring us the requirement and get the matching card without shopping around.

Do you train large Boston teams in one day?

Yes. On-site classes are scheduled around your operating hours and can run in split sessions so a floor, kitchen or clinic is never left uncovered. Group, corporate and recurring-training discounts are available.

How do I renew a certification that is about to expire?

Book a recertification seat before the expiry date on your card. Renewal expectations vary by employer and licensing body, so we confirm the exact certification details at registration and tell you plainly what card you are getting before you pay.
